Color/Winter Guard Member Agreement

As a reminder, in the audition agreement you agreed to abide by the conditions stated; which are stated below.

COSTS
- Guard Personal Item Costs: $80+/-. (shoes, gloves, team t-shirt, etc.)

FALL TRAINING
- Color Guard Camp*: August 8-12, from 8am-12pm
- Band Camp: August 15-19 and Aug 22-26 from 8am-3pm

FALL & WINTER REHEARSALS
- Color/Winter Guard rehearsals*: Monday through Friday, 2:45-4:00pm
- Fall Band Rehearsal every Tuesday, 2:45-4:00pm and Thursday, 2:45pm-6:30pm.

*These times may change. We will update you via BAND app and email when those have been decided.

- Be responsible for learning the routines and memorization of routines in a timely manner.
- Conform to hair, makeup and uniform styles.
- Meet all performances on the band/guard calendar.
- Demonstrate respect and consideration for all members of the guard, band members, drum majors and the staff/instructors.
- Membership in the guard is a privilege that requires that behavior outside of the band room is lawful and within school expectations.
- Failure to follow rules outlined here and/or in the Color/Winter Guard Handbook may result in consequences which will be prescribed on an individual basis, based on the nature and severity of the incident.

OHHS Band Boosters

We HIGHLY encourage each parent/guardian to become a Band Booster Member. As a member, you receive voting rights at all general band booster meetings and access to Booster BAND App for additional info. You also get to help with feedback, ideas and volunteer time, skills, etc., to help build the band & guard programs.

Band Booster meetings are held every first Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm in the OHHS Band Room. You can attend virtually if you unable to make it in-person.
