Color Guard Leadership Application - 2023/24

As our program grows, a Captain, Co-Captain & Lieutenants are needed to help lead the Color Guard & Winter Guard seasons. When the season calls for it (when the show requires multiple sections), section leaders may also be chosen to make sure that every member is able to get the help they need!

Understanding that your role as a leader will be expected throughout the entire school year and should be reflected in everything you do inside and outside of school. If not selected, you will respect the instructor’s decision and positively support the Color Guard Captain and/or other leaders who are selected as well as continue to be an outstanding and supportive member of our marching band.

We know and take into consideration illnesses and other circumstances that may cause an absence. As with anything guard-related, COMMUNICATION is key.

Important Reminders
- May 15th: Audition Agreement, Teacher Form, Leadership Application and essay are due. You may opt to turn these items in BEFORE the due date.
- May 22nd: Song choice & count sheet due. Include the name of the song, artist and include the time position in the song as to when your choreography will begin.
- May 25th: Audition day! 1:45-4pm
