Parents, your help is greatly appreciated and needed. There is a lot involved with Color Guard. Get involved from the start to learn all about it and see how you can help. There are so many things to do and it’s easy to get involved. Your student will love to have you participate in this activity with them – even if they do not admit it (we know from past experience).

Color guard is very rewarding and it is also very rewarding to be a part of your student's journey. The kids build deep friendships and bonds because of the amount of time they spend together. They adopt theme songs that they sing prior to contests, traditions, inside jokes, and many more.

OHHS Band Boosters

We HIGHLY encourage each parent/guardian to become a Band Booster Member. Help build the band & guard community as we work together to provide opportunities for these students to thrive and succeed. As a member, you receive voting rights at all general band booster meetings and access to Booster BAND App for additional info. You also get to help with feedback, ideas and volunteer time, skills, etc., to help build the band & guard programs.

Band Booster meetings are typically held every first Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm in the OHHS Band Room. Dates/times may change depending on what works best for members. You can attend virtually if you are unable to make it in-person.

Mrs. G. has been a part of the Band Boosters since coming to OHHS in 2018. She is at every meeting and is able to answer questions you may have about the boosters, current needs and more.
