Renee (AKA Ms G) is originally from Southern California. Among performances & competitions with her high school's marching band, she was also part of the LAUSD All City Honor Marching Band's Color Guard. She's performed in the Tournament of Roses Parade, Disneyland parades, a Raiders football game half time show & more.
She has been teaching color guard in Oak Harbor since 2012 from 4th grade and up. In 2018, she switched over to OHHS to build their first Color Guard, which she's stuck with since.
Destiny (Des) is originally from Las Vegas, NV.
She was a member of the Foothill High School’s color guard for all four years of high school.
She was also lucky enough to participate in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2014 as well as the Tournament of Roses Parade in 2017.
Destiny loves spinning rifle,
but also has training and experience with flag and sabre. She is currently an active duty military member stationed at NAS Whidbey and is volunteering during her off time to join us. We are so grateful to have her!
Oriaha is originally from Arizona. She is 20 years old and has been a dancer all of her life. She has done Folklorico, contemporary, and jazz dance.
She also danced competitively during her high school years at Desert Edge High School and was in her school's color guard during her sophomore year.
Her favorite memory from her time in color guard was performing in the Fiesta Bowl Parade with the Ghost Busters because they got to be on TV.
She is super excited to join us and we are excited to have her too!
Originally from Linden, Pennsylvania, Andrew was a member of the Williamsport Civic Ballet, a competing member of the Enterline Baton and Drum Major team competing along the East Coast. He performed with the Atlantic Coast Champions, the Marching Millionaires from Williamsport Pennsylvania.
Andrew was the Team and Rifle Captain for the Penn State Syndicate Indoor Winter Guard while attending Penn State and was the Commander of the 324th BlackHawk Drill Team in Monterey California during his time in the USAF.
